Description
Tundra is a large, burgundy heart shaped fruit with green shoulders. The complex sweetness you want in a slicing tomato. Meaty, nearly seedless and with a tiny core (the pithy part). Vining plants are potato leafed. Midseason maturity. It won’t disappoint on toast or on your plate.
Tundra is part of Karen Olivier’s True North Series which includes: Midnight Sun Indeterminate Slicing Tomato Seeds, Taiga Indeterminate Slicing Tomato Seeds, Chinook Indeterminate Tomato Seeds, Polaris Indeterminate Tomato Seeds, and True Colours Indeterminate Tomato Seeds. Midnight Sun is the most beautiful, 2nd for taste. Taiga is first for taste. True Colours is the highest yielding. Chinook and Tundra have such great texture. All Oxhearts, other than Polaris.
