Our Roots
A Seed Producing, Family Farm Located In Nova Scotia. Locally Adapted And Naturally Produced Cut Flower and Tomato Seeds.
Start With A Local Seed.
Settled on the east coast of Nova Scotia, our flower farm thrives during the short growing season. Sweet pea seed is produced in the protection of our unheated greenhouse, while a field of cut flower varieties sway in the ocean breeze. The healthiest, most beautiful and most productive plants are selected for seed saving.
My cousin, Karen Olivier, is an independent tomato breeder. I’m honoured to offer 19 of her Canadian tomato varieties in 2025. 10% of each purchase is given to Karen to support her valuable work towards resilient tomato varieties for short seasons and cold growing conditions.
Flowers and tomatoes are grown on our home farm in Head of Jeddore, NS. We source additional seed from select growers in Nova Scotia. You’ll see the grower listed on each product page. These trusted growers are our friends, valuing the same local and organic growing practices.
