Description
Karma Peach Indeterminate cocktail tomatoes are bicolour fruits of varying size from a large cocktail fruit to a mini beefsteak. All are worthy of fresh slicing for snacking and salads. Karma peach grows on vining potato leaf plants.
I grew Karma Peach in my field on the Atlantic ocean in 2024. The wispy, potato leaf plants allowed for great airflow, helping to reduce disease pressure in our humid growing climate. These indeterminate (vining and bearing fruit continuously, until the frosts), require trellis support. Vining tomatoes are a great way to get lots of fruit in small growing spaces.
“Features of all the Karmas: bred by Karen Olivier line selection and winter grow outs done in collaboration with Marsha Eisenberg in Florida to speed up stabilization. All are vigorous and healthy indeterminate potato leaf plants, All are different but all have excellent flavour. Thin skins, cautious watering and picking blushing fruit promptly is recommended. Rare colours and sizes in potato leaf plants. All have a recessive clear epidermis. All are midseason in maturity. All have meaty interiors that give them the texture of a larger tomato. Big flavour, small tomatoes.” – Karen Olivier
