Description
Sweet Baby Jade is a semi indeterminate plant that grows to about 3 feet tall. (dwarf). This one is perfect for containers, and you’ll easily spot the tasty, cherry sized, green-amber fruits when they’re ripe. Green when ripe tomatoes are a hidden secret. You’ll be hooked after growing this one.
I’ve grown Sweet Baby Jade for a couple years. Each year the odd shape of its leaves as a seedling surprise me. As if it can’t decide if it’s a regular or potato leaf variety. In the end, healthy, 3 ft tall, semi-determinate potato leaf plants are the result.
“Potato leaf semi determinate dwarf. Large cherries. Very sweet. Plants are very hardy and tolerant and will grow to about 3 feet tall. Bred by Karen Olivier, the solid green selected and stabilized in collaboration with Teresa Smith of North Carolina” – Karen Olivier
Other dwarf tomatoes by Karen include her Wizard of Oz series, which features: Ruby Slippers Dwarf Tomato Seeds, Yellow Brick Road Dwarf Tomato Seeds, Emerald City Dwarf Tomato Seeds, and Twister (which we’re growing for seed in 2025).
